The Role: Full Time Digital Account Manager

The purpose of this role is to represent The Big Smoke to its clients by managing and growing nominated customer accounts. This role is all about managing multiple projects at once and executing with the highest level of excellence.

We are flexible with hours, but not outcomes - and for the right person they will have an opportunity to have the flexibility of working from home, working on the go and being able to fit into their working week ensuring family and personal commitments are maintained.

Hours: Full Time (Flexible across how these hours are achieved)

Location: Remote (But access to our Sydney office available)


We offer a great salary and bonus package for the right candidate. This package will be negotiated based on experience.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong grasp of the strategy required for impactful digital campaigns and how they influence an SMEs digital footprint and factors affecting sales

  • Ability to take inbound lead enquiries and grow portfolio of clients

  • Able to identify potential needs of client and sell/up-sell

  • Set up and execute social media campaigns

  • Understand and communicate how PR, SEO, content and social media fit together to ensure digital growth.

  • Ability to work with and oversee team members to create a successful campaign

  • Proficient in all the typical programs used by a digital agency, including software that handles:

  • Management/Collaboration (; Customer Relationship Management; SEO Tools

  • Organise and manage client expectations and communicate with team

  • Ability to oversee a client campaign, including regular WIP calls with client and accurate reporting



You must also be able to demonstrate:

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role.

  • Ability to grow portfolio of clients and convert leads into clients.

  • Negotiating with clients to enhance customer experience and reach.

  • Proven success in developing and delivering value for the client’s business, including digital & direct marketing and consumer targeting.

  • Producing and creating content including briefing and development of creative work

  • Experience in researching and analysing a variety of data sources to support client strategies and producing data driven reports.

  • Working across a broad range of clients in time sensitive and productive ways that lead to outcomes.

  • Liaise with other staff and management to achieve monthly targets and KPI's.

  • This role is extremely hands-on with creative opportunities for the right enthusiastic candidate.
